Recruitment and Organisational Development

TALENT & ORGANISATIONAL DEVELOPMENT

When the right hire does not fix it, the problem was never hiring.

Structure, decision-making, accountability and organisational design create the environment in which people succeed or fail. Without those foundations in place, even exceptional hires will struggle to deliver results.

Recruitment and Organisational Development

Talent & Organisational Development looks beyond individual performance to examine the wider systems that influence organisational success.

We work with leadership teams to strengthen the structures, processes and people practices that support growth, improve decision-making and enable sustainable performance.

Whether preparing for change, building leadership pipelines or redesigning the way teams operate, our focus is on ensuring the organisation is ready to support the talent it attracts.

BUILDING ORGANISATIONS THAT SUPPORT PERFORMANCE

01

Organisational Design

Organisational Development for successful recruitment

When a structure no longer fits the business, the symptoms read as people problems. Decisions stall because no one clearly owns them. Work falls between roles, and reporting lines built for the company you were three years ago constrain the one you are now.

We examine how work moves, where it slows and where authority sits, then support leadership teams in redesigning the structure to serve what the business is trying to achieve.

02

Role Definition & Performance Standards

Role Definition & Performance Standards

Ambiguity is costly. When success in a role is left undefined, each team sets its own standard, hiring aims at a shifting target, and underperformance becomes hard to spot and harder to address.

We define what strong performance looks like in concrete terms, with clear expectations for each role and consistent measures of how it is assessed – so recruitment, evaluation and delivery are all aimed at the same thing.

03

Psychometric Assessment

A CV and an interview reveal only part of the picture. Psychometric assessment shows how a person thinks, works and leads – the things that determine whether they succeed once they are in the role.

We use validated instruments to support the decisions that carry the most risk: who to appoint, who is ready to advance, and where a team's real strengths and gaps lie.

04

Talent Mapping

Talent Mapping

Sound people decisions depend on a clear view of the wider landscape – not only your own organisation. Through market mapping we establish what capability exists, where it sits and how competitors attract and retain great talent. Then we benchmark you against it.

Through succession mapping we turn the same lens inward, identifying who could step up, who is not yet ready, and where the gaps put you at risk. This is mapping to inform a decision, not to fill a vacancy.

05

Workforce & Succession Planning

Workforce & Succession Planning

The roles you will need in three years are seldom the ones you are filling today, yet most organisations plan one vacancy at a time. We work ahead of that, translating the direction of your strategy into the capabilities and roles it will require.

We then build a succession plan that acts on what mapping reveals: developing those who can be made ready, and sourcing ahead for the gaps that cannot be filled from within. Where mapping establishes where you stand, planning determines what you do about it.

06

Change Management

Change Management

Change usually fails on the people side, not the plan. The strategy is sound, but leaders are not aligned before it takes effect and performance dips when the business can least afford it.

We manage that side deliberately – aligning leadership before a change is announced, preparing teams for shifts in structure or direction, and handling the integration that decides whether a change holds or quietly unravels.

HR Support

Not every organisation has its people foundations in place, and a strong appointment cannot succeed in one that does not. Where a capable HR function exists, we work above it on the decisions it cannot resolve alone. Where it does not, we build it.

Our consulting team supports the development and implementation of the systems, policies and processes a growing organisation needs. This is not HR for its own sake – it is making sure the organisation a new person joins is ready to support them.
